For example, if the R2500 is used to power a 400Wh e-Bike, the runtime would be 2016Wh x 86% ÷ 400 ≈ 4.3 hours.

Yes, the R2500 is designed to integrate seamlessly with solar photovoltaic systems like those found on balconies and rooftops. The R2500 stores excess solar energy generated during the day in its internal battery bank. This stored solar electricity can then be used to power your home's essential appliances and electronics when grid power is unavailable.
To connect it to your balcony PV system, simply wire the solar charge controller to the R2500's DC input. This allows the solar panels to charge the R2500 battery bank directly.

I'm using the 2500 at the moment, powered by the mains as I haven't setup the solar panel, but everything seems good. The solar panel initial delivery was wrong, but it has been successfully resolved and I had good communication from Allpower. I have read varying reviews online, but so far I have no complaints.
Setup was so easy. All we need for our off grid holidays.
The item in question doesn't look new it arrived today and the outer box was in perfect condition, on opening i noticed the plastic top of the generator looks like something has been placed on it for a long time, also a scuff to the front housing also the sticky rubber border had come away from the generator in two places, the led screen was also dirty and smudged, it switched on ok and looks like it will work ok..I'm very disappointed also the Solar panel has not arrived...not a good start at all.

The AllPower R2500 is powerful enough for all round use and a great backup. I have not fully tested the solar panel yet but understand it to be very good from other reviews I have read. I would highly recommend this unit. It is very powerful but this is reflected in its weight. Its perfect for what we want it for.
